ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the Murdoch reading. Would love more readings like this. Was great seeing where the PYP inquiry cycle evolved from. Could all the breaks be halved and the sessions speed up?
ReplyDeleteSome great new ice-breaker activities I will be sure to use in my classroom. It has been great talking with other IB teachers and finding out different tools and ways of doing things. All in all, some good points to think about. I would prefer faster sessions and smaller breaks.
ReplyDeleteUsing the selected partners was a good way to meet and work with new people
ReplyDeleteToday I was made to reflect on my positive and negative influences in my practice. It helped me relate the PYP concepts of reflection, causation and connection to my teaching. I enjoyed the breakdown of the inquiry process and how the cycle can be implemented during inquiry learning. The video of the young girls made me think how I can promote more student agency through the PYP process.
